Cedar Trails has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a 2022-23 Best Assisted Living. US News selected communities based on survey results from over 3,000 residents and their families. As part of the selection process, US News also collected comments from residents and their families, which gave us an opportunity to hear from them.
One piece of feedback we received highlights how we fulfill our goal.

Cedar Trails knows that feeling at home is one of the most important feelings one can have and we strive to make each and every day feel that way. Here is insight from a resident that emphasizes how we create a sense of home:

“I do encourage friends to consider moving here. I feel excited to have new residents move in and want to help them feel happy to live here. I observe that when individuals don’t make the decision on their own and are forced to move here by family, the adjustment is much harder for them.”

“I try especially hard to be supportive of those individuals, and usually I see a change in them in a fairly short time. My husband and I chose to move here and though it is not perfect in every way, we are thankful to have the opportunity to be a part of this community. We certainly will recommend it to anyone who asks us.”
