Here at Cedar Trails Senior Living, we believe in the power of a chuckle. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s important to remember that laughter reduces stress, boosts morale, and enhances teamwork and creativity. Throughout the year, as Executive Director, a part of my role is always to promote employee appreciation. From social recognition and milestone awards to our weekly creative follow-ups (CFUs), we always take a moment for our hard-working team members. This past year, my favorite CFU was throwing a pizza party and giving our valued employees special gifts to brighten their day.
These CFUs will persist throughout the year. However, there’s a particular anticipation for Employee Appreciation Day on March 1st. We’re genuinely thrilled about it. We invite you to join us as we aim to create a vibrant sense of camaraderie among our team. Laughter will be the order of the day as we come together to celebrate. We have planned various activities to ensure a fun-filled day, including throwing an appetizer party, engaging in beach volleyball matches, and presenting special gifts to all our employees.
These are just a few examples of the many wonderful ways Cedar Trails shows appreciation to the team. We genuinely believe that when done right, employee recognition creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive. It promotes retention and makes us a great place to work, which, in turn, makes us a great place to live.
