As Culinary Director at Cedar Trails Senior Living, I approach each day with passion, not just purpose. I face new challenges, hear new stories, and find fresh reasons to feel grateful. I became a culinary director in senior living because I enjoy working with older adults. I take pride in creating meals that bring them comfort, joy, and satisfaction.

Over the past ten years, I have cooked and served in senior living communities. That experience prepared me well for my role at Arrow, where the focus is on hospitality and care.

Every Day Starts With the Residents

What I value most about this work is the opportunity to connect with residents. Hearing their life stories reminds me daily why this work matters. These moments give meaning to everything we do in the kitchen.

Each morning, I begin by speaking with residents, ensuring they feel seen, valued, and cared for. Starting the day with conversation helps me build trust and keeps me focused on who we’re here to serve.
