Employee recognition is just as it sounds: recognizing and thanking employees for their hard work and effort. At Cedar Trails, we like to show this appreciation in several ways. From social recognition, milestone awards, or our weekly creative follow-ups (CFUs), we always take a moment for our hard-working team members.
As the Regional Operations Specialist, my role is to promote employee appreciation. This past year, my favorite CFU was when we made survival kits for our night shift. Most fun activities with residents and employees happen during the day, and our night shift misses out on these celebrations. We wanted to ensure they felt appreciated for the hard work, love, and care they showed our residents every night.
This is just one example of the many outstanding team members we have. We genuinely believe when done right, employee recognition creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work which in turn makes us a great place to live.
